Hey guys, recently a new head mounted display setup has appeared on the scene. It is called MindLeap and it is made by Swiss R&D company MindMaze. It allows for VR through it's display/lenses and AR through front mounted cameras streaming to the display. It also incorporates simplified EEG which can be used to measure state of rest, face gestures, and other simple tasks. The main part of the headset is expected to look something like this when it's released to consumers: Here are two video's showing off the prototype of the device at GDC 2015(Warning: They both show mainly the same thing.) GamerHubTV The VergePersonally, whenever they release these to developers I am sure to get one. My favorite aspect of it is it's integrated switch from AR to VR and vice versa. Thank you for viewing, today's link of the day. I apologize for not posting a LotD as often as I should, however activity is expected to rise soon. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
