It really depends on how those feelings are simulated with to create the VR experience. If a fully immersive VR is created that is small enough to fit on your head, I don't think nerve damage would be much of a problem.

I was wondering if having nerve damage could affect feeling in full dive-VR? Thanks, Mrunited12 Mod Edit: I moved the post to the Questions & Answers area. - Vortex I do not believe nerve damage would effect Full VR. The nerves are where you would feel it eg. skin however an advanced brain computer interface which stimulates certain areas of the brain or spinal cord could bypass the nerve completely.

It would depend how severe or in what area the nerve damage is.
