Hey guys, I decided to have to promote more conversation on this forum.
If you had access to a fully functional virtual reality brain computer interface right now, what would you do first?

Contact with ILLUSION about how long they plan to make us wait for a VR game. But seriously, the device is useless by itself, what makes it good is the applications it has. If there was a operating system made for VR, installing that would be probably the first thing. If it was a really good game for VR, then that. If there was absolutely nothing, then I would have to make a game myself. Sure it has other applications besides games, but for now games are the only ones that really interest me.
Anyway I plan to have "something testable", about the force-tracking system I told on my introduction, for the end of summer or so. I'm currently working on the physics of the body using skinned ragdolls (on Blender Game Engine) and building a prototype for an arm. Do you guys know if Unity or Unreal work better for this purpose?

I use Unreal Engine for my game work however I don't know which system would be best for what you're trying to do.

I would probably try to find an efficient way to find out how it was made and how we can recreate it. However, since this is not likely what you meant, I shall answer in the case of a scenario where I would not be able to do such a thing. I would not be able to do much of anything, since the tech is useless on its own, but assuming there are things that it can be used with, I would likely jump straight into a virtual world and try to observe the similarities and differences to the real world and then post my observations to a forum like this one.

Well, I don't think pain will ever be integrated into this system.... I hope at least.

Well asuming it comes with an online game i'd first read all the rules and such before the VR-system arrives then i'd immediatly jump in and meet people and so create a clan, i would put allot of effort in becoming a key person in clan wars and territory devidement if these would be part of the game. Basically i'd try to become powerfull through other means then being strong.
